Local CSIL support
CSIL bookkeeping for Interior Health families
In the Okanagan, Thompson, Kootenays and the rest of the Interior, CSIL is funded through Interior Health. Communities are spread out, and finding local support for the employer side of CSIL is not always easy.
We provide that support remotely. Your workers are paid correctly and on time, your CSIL account is reconciled, and your statements are ready for Interior Health.

What we do
CSIL Bookkeeping & Payroll for Interior Health Families
We take the financial side of being a CSIL employer off your plate, fully remotely.
What’s included
- CSIL account bookkeeping. Every transaction in your CSIL bank account recorded and categorized, including your monthly client contribution.
- Payroll for support workers. Wages, vacation pay, CPP, EI and income tax deductions, CRA remittances and year-end T4s for the workers you employ.
- Health authority reporting. Monthly statements and reconciliations prepared in the format your health authority asks for.
- Funding balance tracking. A clear running balance of funding received, wages paid and other approved costs.
- Audit-ready records. Organized, complete files you can share with your case manager whenever they are requested.
Organized for reporting
We follow the requirements in your CSIL agreement and your health authority’s reporting format. Every figure is supported by a timesheet, receipt or bank reconciliation, so questions are easy to answer.
Employer obligations in British Columbia
As a CSIL employer you generally have obligations under federal and BC rules: CPP, EI and income tax deductions remitted to the Canada Revenue Agency; vacation and statutory holiday pay under the BC Employment Standards Act; and WorkSafeBC premiums, which the Ministry of Health’s CSIL Expense Guidelines list as a mandatory employer cost. We keep your payroll and records in line with these requirements. This is general information; your CSIL agreement and the relevant agencies set the rules for your situation.
