What types of services are included in Family-Managed Home Care?

FMHC funding can be used to hire Personal Support Workers (PSWs), nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and other approved healthcare providers. Additionally, you can hire a bookkeeper to assist with FMHC-related reporting. Personal expenses such as rent, groceries, and other non-care-related costs are not covered.

What is the cost of hiring a bookkeeper for FMHC?

There is no additional cost for bookkeeping services, as the expense is included in your FMHC funding.

Is Carnation Consulting eligible to be my bookkeeper for FMHC?

Yes. Our firm has all the requirements set forth by Ontario Health atHome including but not limited to CPA designation, National Payroll institution membership, Business number and proof of Insurance.

How much financial support is available?

The amount of funding depends on the individual's care needs and the required hours of support. Ontario Health atHome will assess the situation and determine the appropriate funding based on the evaluation.

Can I employ a family member as a caregiver?
