How Carnation Consulting Came to Life
Carnation Consulting was born from a simple but powerful desire — to use my expertise to make a real difference in the lives of families and businesses. As a bookkeeper, I’ve always believed that clarity and trust in financial matters can bring peace of mind. Whether it’s a growing small business or a family managing complex care programs, I wanted to provide support that was not only accurate and professional, but also personal and dependable.
The name Carnation came to me at a time when I was reflecting deeply on what I wanted this journey to represent. Carnation flowers symbolize love, devotion, and distinction — values that resonate strongly with the way I approach my work. Bookkeeping isn’t just about numbers; it’s about care, dedication, and helping others thrive with confidence.
One day, I came across a delicate watercolor painting of a carnation by the artist Michelle Clamp. There was something so calm and intentional about it that it stayed with me. That image became the heart of the business — a reminder that even in the technical world of finances, beauty and purpose can flourish.
